Meta Studio just participated in its first Ask-Me-Anything Session x Polka Ventures
Yesterday, we at Meta Studio just had our first Ask Me Anything session as special guests of Polka Ventures! Several members of our team have already participated in AMA sessions before, but this was our first time as part of the new Meta Studio project and we couldn’t be more excited!
From our side, our representative was Miriam Cihodariu, the Chief Marketing Officer of Meta Studio.
Here is a run-down of how the questions and answers rolled, and who the main 2 entities involved are.
Who is Meta Studio?
Meta Studio (our company) is a Switzerland-based entity building a fully functional business metaverse for content creators. We are creating a metaverse where you can make money while playing. You can become a content creator, streamer, freelancer or business owner.
MetaStudio is the virtual universe where one can create and sell content, develop meaningful interactions, build a business and make money while feeling like playing. It will also be available to brands and established businesses should they wish to join, conduct business, run ads campaigns and so on.
Who is Polka Ventures?
Polka Ventures is a decentralized alternative investment fund. They invest in DeFi, NFT, crypto and blockchain projects that create value and solve issues while making blockchain simply better. As a decentralized community, all investment decisions are community-driven so that every user is empowered and has a voice. They also provide seed and early stage funding to selected projects.

Miriam Cihodariu: Good evening, Polka Ventures community!
P.V.: Welcome, Miriam! We are glad to host an additional AMA today with interesting guests!
M.C.: I am Miriam Cihodariu, CMO of MetaStudio, the business metaverse for content creators who want to feel like playing when working :).

P.V.: Our pleasure to have you here today! Polka Ventures had a very active month of May.
Question 1. Will MetaStudio create an own metaverse like Decentraland or The Sandbox?
M.C.: We are working with the same development team which has built The Sandbox, Bem Builders. On top of that, as mentioned before we are building a niche metaverse in a very hot market segment — content creation. So the answer to question 1 is yes, but with a twist. 😊
P.V.: Our community decided toinvest into NFTopia and metabank, 2 very promising projects. Let’s see if MetaStudio will be our 3rd investment this month.
M.C.: Thank you again for the opportunity.

M.C.: :)).
P.V.: Question 2. When can we expect your presale to go live and will there be a whitelist?
M.C.: We are in the pre-seed stage right now, targeting VC’s & institutional investors to raise up to 5M. Then will have an IDO, followed by an IEO before going to an exchange.
P.V.: Do you also have a date for the IDO?
M.C.: Yes, whitelisting is part of our strategy. The pre-seed period will end on the 30th of June, after that, in Q3, the IDO will happen.
We don’t have a firm date for now, because we are evaluating the best platform for our IDO. We just received two days ago the legal opinion from FINMA regarding the fact that our token is a utility token, and we take things step by step.
P.V.: And have you already decided on which DEX?
M.C.: Not yet, our token is built on the Polygon blockchain, will also have few bridges with the most useful blockchains for our strategy. We’re looking at Solana and Elrond for now, with more to follow in the future.
P.V.: How do you see the current market? Is this a good time for raising capital or is it difficult?
M.C.: Our team is a team of builders, people who have years of experience in executing projects. Looking from this angle… No matter if the market is up, or down, the good projects will be able to navigate through turbulent times.
We are not just launching a token with some expectations, but we will do the hard work of actually building the metaverse. The market is at its best stage if we look back to 2017 or 2018 era, and it is an unstoppable phenomenon.
P.V.: Let’s go to the next question. Question 3. Which deals have been signed with important business partners yet?
M.C.: We just came back from Tomorrow Conference in Belgrade where we were one of the sponsors, will join a similar event in Milan in late June, and have various partnerships in place. Due to NDAs we will announce them in due order as soon as they will be ready for disclosure. In two weeks, we will join Bitcoin Bucharest Conference in Romania.
P.V.: Not even a little sneak preview…? ;)
M.C.: We are working on a partnership on the gaming side, and on one related to launching our first proprietary NFT collection, plus just joined the advisory board Daven Michaels, who is an American Hollywood type of entrepreneur — he had bits from his wedding broadcasted live on MTV — https://davenmichaels.com.

M.C.: We are also working with several very popular content creators. Only the fact that we work with Blockchain XDev and Bem Builders (who built The Sandbox) can be considered a big deal type of partnership.
P.V.: Let’s have the next question answered 😊 Question 4. Can you explain what the METAS Token means for the project, what are its benefits and what makes the token valuable?
M.C.: METAS is the native token of MetaStudio. It will allow content creators to monetize their work, and their audience. Plus, very important, it will allow brands of all sizes to leverage the work of content creators to ignite huge campaigns. METAS will become valuable first because it will be pushed by the value of MetaStudio’s business model.

P.V.: Sure, no worries! Question 5: If you had one sentence to convince someone to invest in your token — what would it be?
M.C.: The future of metaverses are the niche ones, we are building the business metaverse for content creators who feel like playing when working. It is a no brainer, just that the success of this project will be a natural result of the hustle, blood, sweat, and tears generated by building it.
The process of building a successful startup is not easy, is ruthless, the market does not have mercy for anyone, we have an experienced team, where grit is part of the daily routine :).
P.V.: Next one to go! Question 6: How far progressed is the project now — are there already any sneak-peaks?
M.C.: The metaverse is at the concept phase, the development has started, the current focus is on design, and the features. Regarding the token part, it will be ready for audit during the month of June, as mentioned before, just received the legal opinion from FINMA for being an utility token. Our company is incorporated in Zug, Switzerland.
